Purple Radio.
I am pleased to tell you that due to rigourous action by Trevor Davies the £50k rent has now been banked for Purple Radio in addition to the £10k deposit bond and just for good measure £3k interest,
Trevor quietly assures me that the balance for damages of £44k is been pursued.
Trevor, stay might be short but he has certainly made his mark. The Summer Rites Rent from a fews years ago is also being pursued.
Trevor is leaving Lambeth after some 25 years service. Petert Truesdale paid tribut to his service to the Council
last night.

Parks Strategy for Events
The Policy was adopted last night as approved by the Lambeth Parks Forum. Modifications will be made to ensure that costs for events such as the Cannabis convention which are primarily a demonstration culminating in an event which is put on as much for public order and enormously enjoyed by the residents of Heren Hill as a free event will be manageable.

PONDS RESTORATION
The start to nesting season can be considered up to mid March and English Nature have agreed that similar works at Belair could be carried out up to mid March without detrement. The WidlFowl and Wetlands Trust survey did not identify any bats at Brockwell Park Ponds.

INJUNCTION TO STOP PONDS RESTORATION
A Local resident sought an injunction to stop the tree felling at the ponds. He was erroneously granted and exparte hearing and temporary injunction last week. At Lambeth County Court today Mlonday 3rd. March the case was struck off as there exists no Private Law Right to seek an injunction as the individual's rights have not been affected or compromised. The only redress is to establish an prima facie case that a breach of the 1981 Countryside and Wildlife Acthas taken place. This is Criminal Law and not civil law and the individual would need to persuade a Bobby to go and feel someone's collar.

O local resident has sought an injuction to stop works around the ponds. Some trees have been cut back and as it is close to the nexting season a Judge has allowed an ex-parte hearing and full judgement on Monday professional opinions do vary on account of the time of year. But seems that Lambeth are professionaly advised and aware of the Countryside and Wildelfe Act 1981 which offers protection.
