NORWOOD ROAD FLYTIPPING

.
PURPLE RADIO

Paul said that he was still awaiting a reply to our questions regarding the payments due from the organisers. Kelly Sandiford the new Parks and Green Spaces manager
had promised a reply from Trevor Davies.

FLYPOSTING.

We had again been challenged by the Council over flyposting. On this occasion it turned out to be one produced independently by Dick Tooze. Dick has been asked for an explanation as to why the notice purported to come from the Forum. He had not sent out apologies as requested by the Chair but undertook to do this.
The issues had been particularly sensitive as a member of the Norwood Forum had written to the SLP, but more so becasue it is one of the performance indicators that are being assessed for next year's government grants. The group confirmed its adherence to proper practice in this regard and John Brunton is looking into Community Notice Boards.

CONTROLLED PARKING.

Southwark are consulting from Herne Hill to North Dulwich and proposing either one large scheme or two smaller schemes adjacent to the stations.
Lambeth are implementing on Poets Corner scheme from December.. David gave an update on the other scheme in the wider area ( Lambeth side).
There will be considerable displacement from Poets corner to the Herne Hill Triangle and it will be worse if Southwark implement ( April if go ahead).
Pressure waas being put on Southwark by those favouring a control to have a limited parking exclusion during the day for non residents.

TRAFFIC.

David reported on the scoping survey that several members had carried out on the junction. He is still trying to get finance to complete this professionally.
He will submit our results as widely as possible from Val Shawcross to Andrew Sawdon et al.

VELDROME.
Alastair Hanton reported that the Dulwich Society will host/ organise a public viewing of the plans probably 18th January.

LIDO

3 bids had been shortlisted and there will be a display in February. There needs to be dialogue between the Lido and Velodrome groups to ensure that the additional facilities being added / proposed were complimentary and not duplicated as this could jeopardize lottery bids.
